The situation
The client needed a WordPress site restored from backup onto Aruba hosting and running on a new domain — fast. Aruba works differently from mainstream hosts, so one-click migration tools weren't an option: files, database and wp-config all had to be restored and connected by hand. It started as a paid test task, with more work on the line.
What I found
